THELMA BEAUBIEN

Thelma Beaubien is an accomplished photographer and visual artist.
She has twice studied photographic techniques with Freeman Patterson and Andre Gallant at their weeklong workshop in New Brunswick. As well, Thelma has worked with Paul Sparrow in Burlington and the technical support team at Photodex in the United States to enhance her audio visual software knowledge.
Thelma is a member of the PROBUS Women's Club of Kitchener, Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA) and is a member and CAPA Rep for the Grand River Imaging and Photographic Society (GRIPS). For a list of member clubs, please see the Links page of this website.
She has received numerous awards for her photography in local, provincial and national competitions. Her images have been published in numerous magazines and with a number of organizations including the City of Waterloo and its 150th Anniversary celebration book. Her article, Winter Light Wizardry was also recently published in the Canadian Camera magazine.
